Tell Us Your Story Promotion Winners

Category Tenant Appreciation

In February we invited Ithemba residents to share their most memorable moments with us.

More than just an apartment, when you sign an Ithemba lease join a family and your Home away from Home soon becomes part of your history!

The winners of this promotion each received R1000 off their next statement for simply sharing their touching stories whilst living at Ithemba with us. Here’s what our winners had to say:

Oscar Dlamini

Despite all the changes in life, Ithemba has been my Home Away from Home since 2009.

It all started in 2009. I found a new job in Jo’Burg and asked initially asked a colleague to accommodate me until I could find a place of my own.

Under cramped living conditions, I suggested to my colleague that we find a better place to call our home. During my search I came across a great apartment block which caught my eye – an orange building with everything that I could possibly want! It was an Ithemba Property…

I enquired with the staff at the friendly Ithemba offices who provided me with a list of available apartments in the area. The Rand Executive blew me away and just like that, a two-bedroom apartment became our Home away from Home!

The following year, I decided to venture off onto my own. I signed a lease for a one-bedroom apartment at Rand Executive and nicknamed it Gallagher Estate because of its cleanliness. After staying in ‘Gallagher Estate’ for more than two years, I moved back home to the Vaal but in 2014 I was back, and the first company that came to mind when I looked for a new apartment was Ithemba Property!

Soon enough, I was back at Rand Executive and scored big thanks to Ithemba’s latest promotion. I got to sign a lease without paying for a deposit thanks to the promotion and this helped a lot! The staff were so welcoming – most of them still recognised me and I felt like I was home again.

My wife and I have since moved into a three-bedroom at Crestview and I am still very happy with the cleanliness and overall treatment!

Ithemba has grown with me and my family.

While some come and go, I remain a proud Ithemba resident

I live in the JHB fashion district and am lucky enough to call Ithemba Property’s Urban Olive my home.

I love that the building is clean and secure, and that the staff make me feel at home. I moved in in March 2016 and since then it’s been my home away from home!

One of the best things about living at Urban Olive is that my friends and family can come and visit me, and that they get to experience the hospitality too.

While some tenants may come and go, Ithemba remains my Home away from Home.
